NEWBORN & BABY

Feather-light care for the early weeks.

Birth is a big day for a tiny body. Gentle fingertip checks help a brand-new spine unwind from however it arrived — and help with the things that make these weeks hard.

You feel it first. Always.

Before I ever touch your baby, I show you the exact pressure on your own arm — about what you’d use on a closed eyelid, or a ripe tomato. Nothing happens until you’ve felt it yourself.

No twisting. No popping. No cracking.
THE THINGS YOU GOOGLE AT 2AM

Honest answers for the hard hours.

Latching & feeding

Some babies favor one side or can’t turn their head comfortably, and that can show up at the breast. I check for the tension that might be making latching harder.

Sleep

A baby who can rest comfortably in any position tends to settle more easily. I look for the tension that makes lying down feel uncomfortable.

Fussiness & comfort

Sometimes the witching hour is just the witching hour. Sometimes a baby is uncomfortable in their own body — I help gently with the second kind, and I’ll always tell you when something’s outside my lane.

A brand-new body

However your baby arrived, it was a lot for a tiny spine. Light fingertip checks help them unwind, adapt to everything new out here, and feel at home in their own body.

Milestones & moving

Rolling, sitting, the first push toward crawling — all of it comes easier in a body that moves freely. As your baby grows, I check that nothing is holding them back so they can chase the next milestone.

Tummy-time tears

If tummy time ends in tears, sometimes it’s tension, not temperament. I ease the tightness that makes lifting that little head feel like hard work.

On feeding, you don’t have to pick a lane: I look at how your baby’s body is moving and where it’s holding tension — often the piece that makes everything else easier. I work alongside lactation consultants and IBCLCs I trust, and I’m glad to be one part of your team.

I started seeing her for postpartum support each week because I didn’t quite feel myself after having my last baby and noticed a big change in just a few short weeks. She’s kind, flexible and listens to my needs. The office has a comfortable feel and very family friendly — my kids love playing with the toys when I bring them with me!
